- Show up punctually for training.
- Bow before entering and leaving the mat.
- Always maintain a respectful attitude towards your peers.
- If you have to leave training before the official end, please inform the teacher before the beginning of training.
- If you feel unwell (tired, injured, ill etc.) it goes without saying that you should take a break.
- Wearing jewellery (necklaces, rings, piercings, etc.) is prohibited.
- If a longer absence is planned, please inform the teacher.
- For hygienic and practical reasons, it is important to keep toenails and fingernails short.
- Shoes, food and drinks are forbidden on the mat.
- Cell phones may not be switched on or used during training.
- Leave private disputes at the door.
- Profanity and swearing are not acceptable.
- No one should brag about training performance or qualifications before, during or after training.
- The kimono (gi) must always be clean, anything else shows disrespect.
- For women, it is mandatory to wear a rash guard (T-shirt) under the kimono (gi).
- Avoid outbursts of aggression during training.
- Train loosely enough so that everyone can show up for the next session in one piece.
- If you have personal problems with training partners, contact the teacher.
